Amazon Seller Central has recently announced several updates affecting sellers

Amazon Seller Central has recently announced several updates affecting sellers starting in September 2024. Key changes include:

1:- On-Time Delivery Rate (OTDR) Policy: From September 25, 2024, sellers must maintain a minimum of 90% OTDR for seller-fulfilled orders to keep their products listed. Amazon is encouraging a 95% or higher rate to provide the best customer experience. This requirement does not apply to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) listings【17†source]

2:- Automated Handling Time: To improve shipping accuracy, Amazon will enable automated handling time for sellers whose manual settings are two or more days slower than their actual handling time. This update is also effective on September 25, 2024, aiming to reduce late shipments【17†source】【18†source].

3:- Shipping Changes: Starting August 2024, Amazon has limited standard shipping to a maximum of 5 days within the contiguous U.S. and 8 days for free economy shipping. This does not apply to media items like books【17†source].

4:- Inbound and Outbound Fee Adjustments: Earlier in 2024, Amazon introduced new fees for inbound placement services and made reductions in fulfillment fees, particularly for large, bulky items. Inbound defect fees will now apply to shipments sent to the wrong fulfillment center【19†source].

These changes aim to improve the overall fulfillment experience and delivery reliability for both sellers and customers.
